RSS

RSS is a new tool similar but more advanced than bookmarking.

I think I might be able to use this technology in your work or personal life. I can bookmark my links and get updated on new information.

The library can take advantage of this new technology. We can share the new information to the public. The current events are definitely good things to share.

My note:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS_(file_format) has definition of RSS
Google feed reader get two regular update from 2 feeds: NPR Summer Reading and Palinet Technology Update feeds.

http://bloglines.com is also a great feeder.

Feed directory is on http://www.syndic8.com , and http://completerss.com

To subscribe great feeds http://www.boingboing.net , http://lifeatngeeann.blogspot.com, tag http://flickr.com/photos/tags/beach/
